A: Since 1967, YRI has concentrated on offering traditional and classic belts and accessories of outstanding quality, reasonably priced, on time delivery, rapid re-order service and low minimums for both custom and generic designs.
Q: What is YRI best know for Product-wise?
A: Our two main product lines are: Custom Ribbon for belts, hats, key rings, dog collars and leads, polar fleece and tote bags. Custom and generic Insignias (Conchos) for belts, key fobs, leather goods, silver, and wood products. Both products are reasonably priced and versatile in their applications.
Q: What is the lead-time required to create Custom Ribbon and Custom Conchos, and what do you need from your customers?
A: For both products it takes up to 10 to 12 weeks from the inception of each new design to shipment of finished product. We will need very clear artwork. In the case of custom ribbon, your logo in color and your preference of background theme: Plain, center stripe, border stripes, vertical stripes (Regimental) or plaids are currently the most popular. Conchos are primarily done in a circular form, but can also be done as square, oval, triangular or in a specialty design-animal, bird etc. Pictured are several recent examples.
Q: What is the cost?
A: Custom concho molds typically cost $400 for circular molds. Custom Ribbon costs in the range of $600 to $775 and will make approximately 450 - 500 belts, hats or other products.
Q: What are your minimums on belts and accessories?
A: On opening orders we suggest a minimum of 24 pieces per style and color. On most accessories the minimum is 2.
